From drill assignment to completion in 10 steps
Here is exactly what guiding an athlete looks like on kordi AVE, from start to finish.
Create your Guide profile
Sign up, tap "Become a Guide," and select your sport. Add your specialties (putting, short game, swing mechanics) and availability.
Add your athlete as a learner
Your athlete (or their parent) signs up and sends you a guide inquiry. Accept it, and they appear on your dashboard.
Build your video resource library
Paste YouTube links for drills you use. kordi auto-fetches the video title, thumbnail, and description. Build once, assign many times.
Auto video previewsSet a focus area
Tap your learner, then set "Current Focus" with your direct feedback. Example: "Stay centered over the ball. Stabilize lead leg through impact. Check grip before every swing."
Create a drill assignment with a video
Tap "Assign Practice," give it a title ("5-foot putts"), pick a video from your library, set target sessions (5x), due date (7 days), and point reward (10 pts).
+10 kordi points on completionAthlete watches the video
The assignment card shows the video thumbnail. One tap opens the drill video on YouTube. No searching, no confusion about which drill to practice.
Athlete logs each practice session
After practicing, they tap "Log Practice," select duration (10, 15, 30 min), and optionally add notes: "Felt better with wider stance." Progress bar updates in real time.
Assignment completes. You get notified.
When the last session is logged, the assignment auto-completes. You receive a push notification: "Parker completed '5-foot putts'!"
Instant push notificationReview progress on the Learner Detail screen
Tap the notification to see everything: completed drills, active assignments, shared resources, goals, and focus area. All in one place.
Reminders keep athletes on track
If a drill is due tomorrow and hasn't been completed, kordi sends a gentle push notification: "Free throws" from Jordan is due in 18 hours.
